2. What is the difference between ISO/IEC 27701 and ISO/IEC 27001?

ISO/IEC 27001 defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system. ISO/IEC 27701 is a Privacy Information Management System standard that focuses on protecting personal data and managing privacy risks.

Although ISO/IEC 27701:2025 can be implemented in conjunction with ISO/IEC 27001, it can also be implemented as a standalone management system.

4. Is ISO/IEC 27001 certification mandatory for the ISO/IEC 27701:2025 standard?

No. ISO/IEC 27701:2025 is a standalone management system standard and can be certified independently of ISO/IEC 27001 certification under appropriate certification arrangements.

5. Does ISO/IEC 27701 training cover KVKK and GDPR?

Yes. Personal data protection regulations such as KVKK and GDPR are addressed during the training in relation to privacy management and audit requirements. However, the training is not standalone legal specialist training on these regulations.

6. What is the difference between the 5-day and 3-day training courses?
