2. What is the difference between ISO/IEC 27701 and ISO/IEC 27001?
ISO/IEC 27001 defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system. ISO/IEC 27701 is a Privacy Information Management System standard focusing on the protection of personal data and the management of privacy risks.
ISO/IEC 27701:2025 can be implemented in conjunction with ISO/IEC 27001, as well as as a standalone management system.
3. What are the key changes in the ISO/IEC 27701:2025 standard?
In the 2025 version, the standard has been converted into a standalone management system structure, the management system requirements have been restructured, and the privacy controls in Annex A have been organised into controls for data controllers, data processors and common information security controls.
4. Is ISO/IEC 27001 certification mandatory for the ISO/IEC 27701:2025 standard?
No. ISO/IEC 27701:2025 is a standalone management system standard and may be certified independently of ISO/IEC 27001 certification under appropriate certification arrangements.
5. Does the ISO/IEC 27701 training cover KVKK and GDPR?
Yes. Personal data protection regulations such as KVKK and GDPR are addressed within the training in relation to privacy management and audit requirements. However, the training is not standalone legal specialist training on these regulations.
6. What is the difference between the 5-day and 3-day training courses?

Yes. The training includes practical exercises in privacy risk assessment, review of control mechanisms, audit planning, case study analysis, writing non-conformities and audit reporting.
8. Can the training be delivered online or face to face?
Yes. The training can be scheduled online or face to face, depending on the requirements of participants and organisations.
9. Is there an examination at the end of the training?
